A shorter update this week as I'm in the final stages of building the product that I've mentioned in previous editions.

Testing the product

Reliability is incredibly important with this product, so I've been taking steps to ensure that I have good visibility on the system, as well as taking steps to stress test it with a significant, sudden load of traffic - the expected traffic patterns of the product are spikey, so it's important it can scale instantly. It's also a useful test to understand how computing costs scale with certain levels of traffic, and where I reach certain thresholds of capacity that are very important to know when in production.
