Dreams (PS4)

I've recently been digging into Dreams on PS4. At first glance, it's a video game, but I believe calling it such is a bit of misnomer. It is actually more akin to a game engine, but focused on maximising creativity, while trying to prevent the UI and feature set itself getting in the way of that.

It's created by Media Molecule, the creators of Little Big Planet (which in many ways can be traced back to as a core reason why I taught myself how to code in the first place, when I was around 13 or 14). Dreams has since been discontinued by Sony, but I find it very inspiring to consider what the future of game creation looks like, particularly in a world where Generative AI keeps getting better, as it is highly likely to do.
