Jonathan Larson

Jonathan Larson was an American composer and playwright, best known for creating the musical Rent, which won the Tony Award for Best Musical and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1996. He died unexpectedly of an aortic aneurysm on the morning of the musical's first off-Broadway performance.
